I just love how Martha's motherly instincts arrive even though she knows he is gonna survive she still is terrified for him

Such a masterpiece. The tension, the evilness of Luthor, the Superman's desolation, the Bruce's anger. Underrated and overhated movie. I love it.

Her voice is so unique, you already know its elastic girl from Incredible 2 voice cast!

Superman could easily enslave the entire human race, but instead agrees to stand trial in a human court. That should show the kind of person he is

I've always been fascinated by the "what if" of this scene.

How would this trial have gone if Lex Luthor hadn't planted the bomb? Superman's trial would have been the most interesting court room scene if not for that diseased manic bombing the capitol.

When Superman feels so helpless and disheartened....the look on his face

The way he gently opens and shuts the gate behind him; truly an underrated shot. The restraint and calm he has to control at all times for the most menial of actions and movements.

This scene was a real masterpiece, the suspense of her reaction and the explosion out of nowhere. Man, her acting was also amazing as hell.

Such a masterpiece. This movie was way ahead of its time which was the time of goofiness for superhero movies.

This is why Superman is one of my favorite superheroes. Super powers is not what makes one a hero, rather their actions and character towards the public.

What I love about this scene is how Lex truly was ruthless and didn't care about anyone and goes as far as to kill his own assistant. Superman's face at the end truly says it all.

The look of absolute heartbreak and sadness in Superman's eyes as he stands alone in that fire surrounded by the burning corpses of those people is such a gut punch, the realization that no matter how powerful he is there's absolutely nothing he can do to save them.. I feel like you can literally see his heart breaking.
