Wish we'd gotten at least one Batman solo movie with these two.

Did anyone notice that his voice changed to Batman at one point. This movie did a good job of showing how he became too much like the bat, and was slowing losing his human essence. This wasn't a Batman that just started his journey. This is a Batman who's been fighting crime for a very long time and has seen the worst of the worst and it slowly changed him over time. It took the innocence and sacrifice of Superman to bring Bruce back into the light.

The fact that I’m still obsessed with these clips from this movie shows how amazing it is.

1:02 When he's getting angry, Bruce's voice sounds like it does when he becomes the Batman.

1:02 Here Bruce Wayne didn't even need a voice changer, his alter ego Batman took over him when he got angry(I might be geeking out way too much but I wanted to say this). Bruce wayne close ups in this clips are literally giving me 100% Batman comic panel vibes. Zack made a fantastic choice by casting Ben as Batman. My love for BvS will never end.

I don't know why people had a problem with his 1% chance statement, are they not aware of what Batman did in the comics? He literally had a contingency plan to take down the entire Justice League(main members) because he knew there was a possibility that they could one day turn against humanity. This mentality is right up his alley.

“If there’s even a 1 percent chance... we have to take it as an absolute certainty, ” this quote has left a permanent mark on my life, I don’t know why, but it has helped me through a lot

Analysis:

0:30 - "it's a weapon". While everyone see's Kryptonite as Clark's weakness, Bruce looks at it as a weapon. The hunter's mindset: Instantly weaponizing an opponent's weakness.

0:32 - the RED SCREEN in Bruce's background depicts RAGE. As Bruce starts to expalin the Kryptonite, the schematics of the batmobile disappear on the screen, showing that Bruce is transitioning from a Raged + Technical mindset (as he was repairing/modifying the batmobile), to a purely RAGE fueled mindset, when alfred asked him what's in the ship.

0:53 - the background shows Alfred's mindset. The dark background behind him signifies how he knows that Bruce's future is dark, because he's going to war with a literal God. The 2 small lights at the lower right end of the screen are two little rays of hope, 2 arguments Alfred makes hoping to chamge Bruce's mind at 0:52 and 1:27.

1:03 - Bruce's voice transitioning to the Bat's voice. Showing that Bruce's rage is boiling to an extent that it's spilling. and Bruce is turning into the Bat, even without the mask. He's losing the rational, human side and is transitioning to a rage fueled monster.

1:08 - Bruce tries to Justify why he wants to kill Clark by pointing towards the people who died because of Clarks and Zod's fight. While in reality Bruce is scared. He wants to kill superman before superman kills him/humans. just like a rattle snake bites as a preemptive strike.

1:16 - Bruce explains Existential Risk. A Statistical cconcept, where the risk of something existing far outweighs the benifit. Superman existence posed an extinction level threat to the humans. While he's existence showcased trivial benifits.

1:32 - he's done believing people. He knows promises don't mean anything. This Bruce is extremely cynical, worn down, tired and black pilled.

1:37 - people are dead. And he believes he has fallen (as mentioned in the epilouge/starting of the movie) and that he isn't a good guy anymore. Plus Robin is dead.

1:41 - people change. Just like harvey. he knows that people can be easily corrupted. The joker is right for most people.

I really love how when Bruce says "That son of a bitch brought the war to us two years ago, " the "war to us" goes so low it sounds like he's using his voice changer. I don't know if that was intentional, but if it is, it was a nice touch. It shows that it isn't Bruce Wayne talking, it's Batman, the enraged vigilante inside.
