For Example The Sims 4 came out 9 years ago and still gets regular updates, a big DLC just dropped, and a huge generation of Youtubers is still playing it on a regular basis.

Rockstar delegated the GTA definitive trilogy to a bunch of freshman, who decided to try and get an AI to remaster the game for them. Can't imagine why that didn't work out. Grove Street Games doesn't deserve their name.

I'm kinda sad that the mystery flesh pit game was canceled but also respect the creator for realizing that this project was too big for him to take on himself. Creating a good horror game takes a team.

That Tony Hawk one was a gut punch. I owned and loved 1 and 2 on PS1 and thoroughly enjoyed the remasters, but never got the chance to play 3 and 4. I was so hopeful for them to get remastered.

Halo infinite canceling its dlc hurts. It was supposed to be a big thing and frankly I think it is going to negatively effect the game now that it was canceled. As for the wizards of the coast canceling their games I was under the suspicion it was the controversy with the community is why they stopped them.

Shame about Project Q, but does explain why I've never received an invite to the next open weekend. The alpha test weekend was rough around the edges, and without a finished game and tutorials, wasn't the easiest to get to grips with, but it was a fun game to play, extremely slick, and had a lot of potential.

Not as impacted or surprised by these as I had feared, but 3+4 hurts more than expected as well.

As far as I'm concerned WotC and Hasbro have had enough of my time and money; likely as not I'm very much a part of the chorus here; they may need to forsee a much more grimdark future for themselves than previously anticipated. Would love to see new strategy card games and high fantasy, table-top-inspired creations get a chance.

As a future indie gamedev, why I need shareholders if I need crowdfunding that mutually benefits the most. I'll make my own 2.5D action game with stunning visuals inspired from Metal Slug (I'm SNK fan for this game despite of being recent Albion player tho- 😅). That way, I had freedom for what my games be like without being interferred by SHAREHOLDERS that actually ruined gaming industry this whole decades.
