Can highly, highly recommend Nine Sols. Imagine taking Hollow Knight's metroidvania world, and mixing in some Sekiro, giving it a cast of great characters and a really good plot. That's Nine Sols, it's so slept on its criminal. Despite the cutesy visuals, the game has very mature themes.

All these games are so soft and without edges, cozy games destroyed the indie scene, between lunacid, mouthwashing and sorry were closed devs and how they make everything cutesie and punk. Sad to see the indie scene get to this, we used to have crow country, tormented souls, TBOI, Hotline Miami, now every game is about cooking and building and friendly inclusive banter and no substance
