I was blown away by the first teaser trailer of Cyberpunk 2077, which was wow... 10 years ago now. At the end of the trailer it said "coming: when it's ready".
Well, almost 3 years after the initial release it is finally ready!

Price of persia was what made me interested in the first Assassin's creed game. Too bad they abandoned it. I really liked forgotten sands and warrior within. Remember was waiting for more back in 2009 but never got any new ones.

I swear the Assassin's Creed community doesn't know what they want sometimes. First, they complain about the big RPG games not putting emphasis on stealth, but with Mirage, they complain about the game putting emphasis on stealth by making Basim weaker in direct combat. Fix your standards please💀💀💀

Assassins Creed 1 was one of my favorite games on the 360 when it came out. It’s the game I think of when I think of AC! Those desert sandy cities and roads between cities… it was such a fun game

Its always refreshing to see series return to their roots, or actually do/fix what fans have been wanting them to. Some devs are so damn hard headed and refuse to listen to anyone. So kudos to these titles. I hope they all become smash hits, and influence others to actually listen to gamers

Ubisoft finally realising what made assassins creed so damn popular and huge was its linear story driven gameplay that focused on hidden blades, hoods and templars and not cross country running simulator

The Prince of Persia game reminds me of the DOS version that I played incessantly. It was a side-scroller with traps and stuff like that too.

Cyberpunk 2077 is a great case here. I've been playing it since launch in 2020 and despite having enjoyed it back then and had no issues with the game it makes me happy to see how they kept working on it and it's now a completely different game and redeemed itself. Kinda like a No Man's Sky situation there.

Ubisoft lost me permanently when I found out they can delete your account for "inactivity" and you lose access to all your games permanently...

I actually liked AC origins and odyssey way more than original Assassin's creeds, I know it's no longer an "assassin's creed" game, but the in depth details of the open world, the lore, the atmosphere, the side quests, the puzzles.. everything about it was so perfect enough to distract you from the downgrade in gameplay

I am excited to see what they do with AC Mirage, but I do feel like people are looking at the original Assassin’s Creed through nostalgia goggles. The first game had some great ideas and was pretty revolutionary in a way, but as a game it wasn’t too great. AC2 was 100x better and is really where the series found its legs.

I think Ubisoft (may) have gotten a little smart and are ultimately deciding to offer both types of AC games. A more traditional style with Mirage and a more RPG focused with Codename: Red (although it sounds like there might be issues with development)

I know Alone in the Dark 2008 gets a lot of flak from everyone and is a topic of ridicule among my video game loving peers (all you guys, my brothers from a different mother), but that game left a long lasting effect on me. in 2008 I was in my second year in college, and after class everyday, it used to be my choice of poison. I do not know why but that game calls out to me, beckons me.... sometimes in my dreams

Assassin's Creed origins is the one I enjoyed the most. Best game in the series. One of the best game of all times, a true masterpiece.
