I was born into the Roman Catholic church. It is corrupted.
There is great Mary worship. There is Saint worship. There is Papal worship. There is the bizarre invention of purgatory. I believe the Catholics have been led astray.

Lately my disdain for the Catholic system has grown. My 82 year old Catholic neighbor died not knowing where he was going. How can this be the true church if someone lives their whole life under it yet never gets saved?

Ex-Catholic as of about 1 month ago. I am unlearning the indoctrination and the lies and finding Christ Jesus through His Word. So thankful for having the veil lifted from my eyes and praying my family and friends will do the same.

My sister and her husband recently became Catholic. My parents were born and raised Catholic but left in their late 20’s, and raised us evangelical. I honestly think the only reason her and my brother inlaw joined was because the rituals and ceremonies make them feel special. They have more Mary objects in the house than a die hard sports fan.
Please keep them and all others in yours prayers.

Wow! PRAISE THE LORD! I LOVE HOW GOD WORKS in my life! This video is shown to me in God's perfect timing! I'm an ex-Catholic, ex-lesbian & ex-worshipper of Mary! PRAISE JESUS FOR PULLING ME OUT OF THE PIT! I was raised in a Filipino home since I was 5 to pray the rosary everyday before I could do anything after school. I was taught to memorize it so I can pray by myself. The rosary is the OBJECT TO WORSHIPPING MARY! But if you ask you ask any Catholic, " why do you pray to Mary?" They out right deny it. But if you point out that they do by telling them on the rosary they pray 10 HAIL MARYS & ONLY 1 OUR FATHER and then they end with "HAIL HOLY QUEEN, MOTHER OF MERCY. HAIL OUR LIFE OUR SWEETNESS AND OUR HOPE..." Then they start thinking "am I worshipping Mary over GOD?" 🤔😳

Amen 🤲🏽 The Roman Catholic church has turned Mary into an idol for them ✅ We are not supposed to worship idols nor bow down to them ❌

I once belonged to a very strict Roman Catholic family and I attended a Roman Catholic School so I'm aware of their methods of indoctrination. I know first hand their hymns, prayers and devotion to Mary as she's held above the Lord Jesus Christ. Only the Holy Spirit can break the shackles that bound you to the Catholic system. I pray that as you continue to reveal the truth about their doctrine many will be blessed to walk away to Christ. I know there are many in that system who sincerely want to follow the Lord!

I got called a blasphemer for saying Mary is dead and is not the queen of heaven. A Catholic also said I violated the 4th commandment.

Thanks for your message and testimony.

Heres how i responded elsewhere to the idea of praying to Mary or any departed saints:

Praying to Mary & the Saints is unbiblical!

There's a difference between asking family or friends to pray For you, to praying To dead people!

Jesus is both Mediator & Intercessor. If Jesus is sufficient for both those roles then why do we need to pray to Mary or one of the saints, who by the way, are dead and departed?
Yes, they are alive in heaven, however, there is no scriptural basis for praying to them, rather the opposite is true!

Intercession is biblical for you and I who are living, to pray FOR one another, but not to pray to departed people. The saints in heaven may be privy to the prayers of the saints on earth. However, nowhere in scripture are we instructed to pray To Them!

The Bible actually instructs us to call on God not the Dead!

Isaiah 8:19-20 Someone may say to you,  “Let’s ask the mediums and those who consult the spirits of the Dead. With their whisperings and mutterings, they will tell us what to do.” But shouldn’t people ask God for guidance? Should the living seek guidance from the Dead? Look to God’s instructions and teachings! People who contradict his word are completely in the dark.

By praying To them, we are taking the attributes of God and placing them on mere humans! Only God is Omnipresent(everywhere at once), Omniscient(knowing everything at all times), Omnipotent(all powerful) & Omnibenevolent(supremely Holy & Good).

If the word of God tells us to come to Him directly, then why do we need to pray to anyone else???

Take a look at the following scriptural references:

Romans 8:34
[34]Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes INTERCESSION for us.

Hebrews 4:14-16
[14]Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.
[15]For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.
[16]Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Hebrews 7:23-27
[23]Also there were many priests, because they were prevented by death from continuing.
[24]But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood.
[25]Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make Intercession for them.
[26]For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens;
[27]who does not need daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for His own sins and then for the people’s, for this He did once for all when He offered up Himself.

1 Timothy 2:5
[5]For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,

Acts 4:12
[12]Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

Jeremiah 29:12-13 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Jeremiah 33:3 Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.

Philippians 4:6-7
[6]Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
[7]and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Romans 8:26-27
[26]Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
[27]Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Matthew 6:6, 9-15
[6]But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
[9]In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.
[10]Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.
[11]Give us this day our daily bread.
[12]And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors.
[13]And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
[14]“For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
[15]But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

1 John 5:14-15
[14]Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
[15]And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

2 Chronicles 7:14
[14]if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Psalms 17:6
[6]I have called upon You, for You will hear me, O God; Incline Your ear to me, and hear my speech.

Psalms 102:17
[17]He shall regard the prayer of the destitute, And shall not despise their prayer.

Psalms 145:18-19
[18]The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth.
[19]He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them.

Proverbs 15:29
[29]The Lord is far from the wicked, But He hears the prayer of the righteous.

Romans 10:13
[13]For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Romans 10:9-13
[9]If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord, ” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
[10]For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
[11]As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”
[12]For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him,
[13]for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Why not call it Maryism instead of Christianity? Catholicism is not Christianity.

It's better to accept and acknowledge this. Why claim to be Christianity? (Rhetorical question)

My great grandma was Catholic. So was my grandma. And my mom. And me, until I was actually born again in my mid 20's. Only after I read the Bible did it occur to me how many Catholic things weren't just wrong, but really wrong. My mom is now born again and Spirit filled, and I've told my grandma the truth about Mary. I pray she is saved soon since she is 89. Her Catholic friends I've preached to get defensive about Mary...they really take it as an attack on their actual mom! I get it that they were raised with it and probably have some nostalgia and warm memories of their mom and Mary. One claims to know Mary isn't divine, that she's just a motherly figure for us to ask to help us in our prayers. Jesus Himself intercedes for us and He doesn't need any help. It's actually insulting Jesus to say He isn't enough. At some point they have to choose between what God says and what tradition says. Also there's probably some deceiving spirits involved. The antidote to this is Jesus and the Word. Most Catholics have never read the New Testament and just go by what they're told. This video is great testimony of the truth.
