Hello and welcome! I'm Betty Franks and I create my vision of abstract fields of flowers using acrylic paints and pencils (and other mark-making tools). I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and travel a couple of times a year to Preko, Croatia (where my parents live). I started painting in 2012 and focused on abstract art in the summer of 2015. 🌼 I only discovered I could paint 5 years ago. I did hyper realistic animal portraits. After losing my husband to cancer in 2020 I just couldn’t/didn’t sit down to paint. Last week I came across your YouTube channel. I rushed out to buy acrylics and thoroughly enjoyed letting go without having to concentrate or have the pressure of it having to be prefect.
