Hello and welcome! I'm Betty Franks, and I create my vision of abstract fields of flowers using acrylic paints and pencils (and other mark-making tools). I've used lace as stencil, store bought stencils, bubble wrap, sea sponges, regular sponges. Lot's of things! Loved this!

I liked the random shapes out of wax paper. Have not use that one, but will try it now. I like to borrow the kids Legos. They make great little circles and marks, another favorite of mine is a hair pick from the dollar store, or a dollar store hairbrush make great marks. Lots of inspired ideas❤️ Thank you for sharing Betty🙏🏼 I’ve been saving any packaging that has interesting textures for my mixed media experiments and making stamps by cutting shapes out of craft foam and then sticking them onto cardboard from old boxes………having fun and recycling😊🎨

Thank you for sharing. I do use stencils from waxed paper or Mylar. Also have used foam sheets from the art store and used a ballpoint pen to incise a pattern like lines and then print from that. I will look for a fine tip applicator. I appreciate your videos ❤
