My life was never the same after loosing my wife to cancer in 1994. I had 2 teenage sons but without the love of my life we were not a family anymore. Oh to travel back in time and see her again! I have remarried to a wonderful lady but to be back in the arms of my first wife would be so beautiful.

Without a doubt, Jane Seymour is the most beautiful woman in the world. Then, now and forever.

The pain of not having someone in life that you love more than anything is one of the hardest thing someone can experience. Every single time I watch this movie it gives me the same amount of heart ache... it never gets old.

My wife and I have been to the Grand Hotel and stood in the same spot where they first met. I'm 83 now so we don't have much time and this movie brings me to tears every time...

Since my Wife Kelly passed away nearly one year and 10 months ago, I have not been able to watch this Film (Somewhere in Time) all I can do to cope every day, is to listen to the Beautiful music
from this Film. All I can do is remember all of the good times me and my Wife Kelly had together, all I have now are the memories of being with my Wife, every day is so hard, and this music helps
through all the difficult and dark days. I wish I could go back in time. Stewart M Holman.

Just a simple love story, two brilliant actors and an superb composer made this movie timeless. I have been watching this movie over and over again since 1980, and the music is so mesmerizing that enthralls your soul.

I understand Graham. My life has never been the same either since I lost my wife to cancer in 2015. Our two daughters were in their 20’s at the time. We were married in 1980, the year this movie was released. My beautiful bride was not a woman I could live with, she was the only woman in this world that I couldn’t live without, and I adored her immensely. Im not lonely only because I’m alone, I’m lonely only because I live without her in my life. I anticipated this separation eventually happening in our 80’s, but certainly not in our 50’s. I have no interest in remarriage because, like you Graham, if I did, I know I would always be thinking about my first wife. It may be harsh to say, but no woman could ever compare with my beautiful and precious wife from our college days. My heart still aches after seven years. God only knows my love for her.

I was stationed in Okinawa in 1980 when this film was released. I didn't see it until one of my friends was watching it on video tape. I was absolutely mesmerized and couldn't get enough of it and watched it time and time again. 43 years later and I still love watching it just as much. It was interesting to find out that the cast was drawn to the film for the same reason and John Barry's score is timeless and really made the movie. I sure don't mind admitting that I'm a man and I love this film. I just hope that some of the younger generation will discover it as well. I really do believe that love transcends time : )

The most beautiful story and outstanding cast. I cry every time I see it because it it reminds me of how I met my husband and his death. This is the way I want to continue until God takes me home and I see my husband again.

Jane Seymour is perhaps the most classically beautiful woman, in a very English way, ever,
Poised, elegant & reserved !

I was only 12 when i saw that movie for the first time. It showed me what true love can be. I cried like it was my own love. 40 years later now, the feeling is still amazingly strong when i watch it again🙏. You ladies are a gift in the life of us men😉

There are few movies which are perfect... Writing, story, cast, soundtrack, chemistry... This is one of them!

When the movie came out, I was just a college kid very into time travel, aching to know more, & it became my #1 favorite. Now, a senior citizen who fell in love only once, with someone who didn't feel the same... the movie feels even deeper & richer now. It does my heart good to watch this again after so many decades. 💙

Richard Collier’s deep depression was based on the realization that a great chasm befell him when he lost the love of his life in the only woman who brought blissful meaning, purpose and direction that was otherwise wanting in him all along as a single man. The fulfillment of true happiness only came to him when he found the woman of his dreams who made life worth living; and that was found in his beloved Elise McKenna– a remarkable and beautiful woman with whom he was to grow old.
This movie should be a lesson for all men who are blessed with a wife/soulmate – never take her for granted because you never know when you may lose her. Every married man should thank his creator for her, and to remind her everyday just how special she is to him. 😢 ❤️

One of the most romantic films of all Somewhere In Time. Christopher Reeves & Jane Seymour, they truly made this film moving with their on screen chemistry.

When I think of this film a poem by the British poet Alfred Lord Tennyson, published in 1850 comes to quote " I hold it true, whate'er befall, I feel it when I sorrow most, 'Tis better to have loved and lost. Than never to have loved at all.
I truly wish they had made more films like this for the romantics out here!! ❤😊🎻🎬🎼📜✍
