In 1972, writer Richard Collier (Christopher Reeve) becomes entranced by a photograph of Elise McKenna (Jane Seymour), a turn-of-the-century stage entertainer, while remaining at the Terrific Inn in Mackinac Island, Michigan. As Richard's fixation develops, he gains from a companion that time travel may really be conceivable through spellbinding. Richard goes so as to meet Elise, and the two seem bound to be together. Nonetheless, Elise's envious supervisor (Christopher Plummer) endeavors to keep them separated. An enchanting, clever, enthusiastic heartfelt show about an adoration rising above reality, Somewhere In Time is a dated film in the best feeling of that term.
