Useful I have a noon question, where are the cool air intake in the MacBook Pro M1? I don't see the traditional tiny cutoffs in the bottom part of the body? is the lack of intake the difference there is no big difference in performance Air versus Pro? I might be missing something obvious, but I don't see how the system is getting cool air in?

The M1 Macs are good enough for the average consumer now. For "pros" they should know better and wait for the iMac, MB Pro 14 & 16, that is commonsense and should not even be a conversation! Knocking the MB Air for bottlenecks using pro apps is a bit of a troll TBH and techies should know better.

Be sensible and buy the Air and MB Pro for what it was made for, an ultrabook workflow and you will be fine. These are not gaming machines or for pro users, so many of the quibbles do not make any sense in that context. The caveat is if you use apps not yet native to Apple Silicon then I would wait until support so you can remain professional in your work.

I bought the macbook pro m1 because i never had a mac and i don’t have to worry for the redesign next year because apple will make a better mac the year after so it’s kinda useless to wait since i need it NOW for my daily tasks as a student and some editing.

Hey! I'm trying to decide which of these Macbooks would be best for me, the Air or Pro. I use photoshop to design things like event flyers, cd covers, social media images etc. And also use a software called Movavi to edit videos. Nothing too fancy, mainly trimming, pasting and adding various video clips and audio files together to create videos that are roughly 45 mins to an hour long. Can the Air handle this easy or should I get the pro?

I just returned my M1 Mac Mini because of Bluetooth issues. I have both Apple magic keyboard and mouse but they would be randomly disconnected. Sometime I needed to restart the Mac mini to make them connect again. Do the M1 MacBook Air and Pro get the same problem?
