1) "Doc, what BLOOD KETONE METER do you recommend?"
It's accurate and takes only ONE test-strip to get results. YES!!
2) "Doc, what can I have while fasting?"
    Salt + water are best.
Black coffee - I prefer cold brew coffee.

3) "Doc, how do you know if you're eating the right fat?"

This is so true. I eat one hour per day and it has changed my life. My brain is sharper and my memory has substantially improved. Thanks Doc!

I started keto back in October, eating three meals a day. A couple months later I went to two meals. I never intended to do OMAD. I was very content with two meals. But then I decided to do an OMAD challenge for the month of March and I'm blown away by how easy it is because I'm not starving and hangry like I thought I would be. I've lost almost 50 pounds since October and for this first week of March the scale has been going down a little bit at a time every day. 2 ounces here, 8 ounces there. Any movement downward makes me happy. I'm loving this!

I've been on OMAD for over a year now, lifting weights and calisthenics. Still going strong.

I'm in OMAD right now. But before that i had 2 meals at 11am and 4pm. Slept around 9-10pm. I had a lot of rest and exercises both light and HITT for 3-4months before jumping to OMAD. It comes handy for me as I'm not craving for anything. I also cut down my coffee intake from 2x daily to 1. I feel a lot better. Apart from positive physical changes, I am less hungry and more focused. My skin allergies is now gone. I looked younger too.

Very true. Wasn't able to properly do this until I finally got fat adapted. Took me forever bc I have PCOS and prior diabetes but all good now. Literally no cravings for carbs and not hungry at all. It's so much easier when ur actually ready.

I'm just starting OMAD after doing IF for around 5 years. I'm getting older and my heatlh is demanding it. Looking forward to some positive results.

I discovered OMAD after about 4 months of doing keto with intermittent fasting 2 meals a day to be exact. And I actually find OMAD much easier than intermittent, I think of food less and some how my appetite feels like it’s gone because if I don’t set an alarm I will sometimes forget to eat. Also food seems more satisfying 😊good luck to all

I started cold turkey. I’m on day 4. I think my body is getting used to it by now. I have black coffee after my meal. It helps with the hungry for the rest of my day🤷🏽‍♂️

When I work in the office, I have only 30 minutes as my break. Since this is not enough time for me to cook/eat, brush the teeth, I just do OMAD every day in the evening. Feeling great😊

At goal weight, sparkling lipid and blood "numbers"I do "better" on a 4 hour window in which I allow myself to go back to calorie counting and up to 50 carbs a day. Sometimes none. My ketones float around .5 but if I want a blast of autophagy I do 24 -60 fasts 4 to 6 times within a 90 day window. I wear 5 pound walking weights each arm, so that all movement all day long is a mini workout. I am a quintuple bypass survivor who, according to my cardiologist, shows nearly zero arteriosclerotic evidence on my recent nuke stress test. I know the traditional science is weak and "feeling good" may be a body in trouble but coping -- but at 77 the next 20 years will tell.

agreed: i've been doing omad for years, and am now 61. i started at A1c at 8.4, and last blood workup a month or 2 ago, i'm at 4.3, and the range has been as high as the low 5's. i don't measure the time window, but i'd say it's about 2 hours, cuz i eat slowly, and am careful to only eat lean protein and veg - no carbs otherwise. i do one cheat day per week, usually friday or saturday where i do eat some noodles or something.

the only downside is my bone density is down, so doc put me on calcium/d3, cuz i'm apparently not getting enough, although i've started also drinking a veg beverage lately that i mix with water.

After a week this is working extremely well for weight loss and especially for blood sugar, but 60 minutes every day hasn't worked for me most days. After a 30 minute lunch I usually snack on a variety of nuts for an hour, and on the weekend, with cooking and not rushing the eating and putting more effort into food preparation like a salad, two hours has been working better. After years of experimenting with fasting and various meal plans, I know this is the plan for me for life already, but 90 - 120 minutes is working better for me.
