I feel like something got wired wrong on the outlet. Should have constant power to the dishwasher.

Maybe but more likely the heating element, the black metal hoop is a heating element similar to the one found in ovens. Check that it is getting hot durning the drying cycle or turn on the hot wash option and it should start getting hot at the beginning of the wash cycle when filling with water.

My dishwasher was frozen with all of the lights on (two year old Frigidaire). I switched the breaker off for two days and so far it’s working again.

What about the heating element, if that’s shot then your dishes won’t dry.
