For those who don't get the accounting joke: because of TikTok's censors, sex workers (including strippers and OF) started using "accountant" as a euphemism for their jobs

Bruh throwing a brick at an Italian familys window and calling it a pizza party is wild.

Millennials: I got a degree, but now I can only seem to find careers that are completely unrelated to it

Boomers actually got retirements and had a reason to be loyal. They aren't stupid for it, they're just not sharing

The silent generation one is spot on. My great grandpa and his family would often have a party where they would get wasted, roll a piano down a hill, and steal and eat one of their neighbors chickens. 😂 They called it a chickery.

Was talking with my grandfather about how tough the job market is now and he went on this long spiel about how we just need to safrifice like he did in the 1970's. He took two summers off right after highschool to work in a dynamite factory making 16$ an hour. After the two years he had enough money to Pay for a car, house, and most of a master degree. I just calmly ran a calculation and said that In today's currency he would've been making around 75$ an hour as an 18 year old. One working day for me doesn't even fill up a whole tank on my car. He got real quiet real fast.

I'm a millennial. I used to work corporate. I hated it. Now I walk dogs. And I love it. And I actually make more doing this than I did working at *insurance company with a lizard*

Oh the boomer one gave me vivid flashbacks of highschool "career talks".

Millenials were told their entire childhood that the world was theirs and they could become whoever they wanted. I doubt many wanted to be too poor to get a house.

The company Loyalty thing actually meant something back in the 60s, you could actually retire and get a pension through the company, now days company loyalty is a fools errand, as many want slave labor. Many companies in the 60s had values and actually cared, now it's all corporations feeding you their kool aide.

Millennials: if I work really hard and dedicate my life to this company, they may just give me a 0.00035% raise

Also silent gen: I was pulling maps for my part-time secretary job when a man in a suit came by and asked if I could come by the next day for an interview at the electric company. Turns out they were about to get fined if they didn't hire a woman, and now I get a pension every month until I die.
