I can tell in the comments people apparently torque their lugnuts to 1000+lbs of torque 💀

I replace my front struts with this tool. Was amazed with the power from a little screw gun

Just ordered one yesterday, I’ve been using a makita impact. It’s not bad but It has trouble busting bigger or rusted bolts. So pumped to try this

Biggest issue you got is snapping the 1/4”hex to 1/2”square drive

Ive bust 2 now so bought a 3/8 impact wrench fiw2f38

Do that again, but show us you torquing this lug nut to specs. I’m a fully assumed Milwaukee fan boy but even I have to doubt this is real.

A half inch drive impact wrench will take longer to undo properly torqued lug nuts.

Damn that pretty good I wonder if the m12 could do it just as easily

It will twist off a 1/4 20. But always check your lugnuts by hand after tightening

This is true, even the old gen 2 will do that

I have a gen 4 he definitely tightened it with the gen 4 then lossened it back up, not saying it won't take one off a air gun put on but there's at least 1 sec of impacting to do it

It’s definitely more than capable. I’ve sheered 2 makita impact xps hex to 1/2in.

That was definitely already loosened 😂

Should really be using an impact wrench instead of a driver. That hex extension would break before any lug stud.

Wrong tool for the job. Use a 3/8 or 1/2 inch impact WRENCH not a 1/4 impact driver. It's like using a pair of pliers on a large nut or bolt instead of a socket or adjustable wrench

Yeah, like that 1/4" drive wont snap in half on something that hasnt already been loosened

ericshackelford

That lug was loose. There is no way it was torqued to spec

this impact driver is capable of breaking 550 ft/lbs after 10 seconds. wouldnt doubt it could break 100 ft/lbs in a second

Should probably tighten all of the now just to test it out…
