I was thinking of the m12 gen 3, but the m18 gen 4 is actually more compact , so Im thinking of going with the gen 4 m18, how have they held up in day to day uae ?

How has it held up in the field? I see complaints of it getting too hot. 1 or 2 comments even stating that theirs died on them… I own both but have yet to do vigorous work.
