This video made free by our wonderful Warrior Producers.

In this video, Navajo Historian Wally Brown shares the traditional Navajo teachings about the origins of the Anasazi—a history rarely heard outside of Navajo culture.

Unlike the interpretations of anthropologists, who analyze artifacts and ruins, these stories have been passed down through generations, carrying insights that can only come from those who have grown up immersed in them.

Discover who the Anasazi truly were, and how their history might be entirely different from what most people think.

I travelled to Chaco Canyon and then on to Page this summer to see the land of Dinetah. I sat in the river and stopped at the old traditional teachings center in Page looking for Wally. Obviously (to those who know) I didn't find him there, but the trip was amazing, and Chaco was amazing. Thank you for this video and for all of these videos. Hopefully, you will one day offer all of these videos, like on DVD, because eventually they often get lost in YouTube.

I am always amazed with Wally's ability to talk in his native language and then seamlessly change to American English in a moments notice!!❤
I pray that the Navajo teachings reach many far and wide for a better future for human kind. Excellent work Shane❤ on editing! Or whoever did the editing 😊

As our world changes and the evil is exposed that has led this world for so long as well as hiding so much history from the world these interviews become more and more important. Thankyou for your story telling gifts of your history and for documenting this for us all to learn from 🎉❤

Thank you Chief Wally. As a second generation American of 100% Finnish descent, I find myself very moved by your teachings. They resonate and harmonize with my deep ancestral roots that are awakening and calling to many of us as we draw closer to the coming transition that Mother Earth needs. Blessings to you.

The timing of this video is further proof of creator. I am beginning to be a tour guide at chimney rock and everyone gets so much wrong. I can use this to correct some assumptions made by the anthropologists. Miigwetch from the metis people.

That would be nice to also make a video about dine clan systems, most of these ancient sites we still get our clans from and most archaeologists dont want to believe these clans system do exist or aren't even accurate to today society.

Thank you grandfather. This confirms my beliefs of the Anasazi and who they were and where they came from, along with all the old ones before and after. It has been a passion of mine to learn the history and life of the ancestors, to learn the history of the people on which this land I live on has come from and experienced over time. I am so glad that we have your voice to record all the things passed down from so many generations. Blessings to you grandfather.

I wonder since they came from the south, could they have been part of one of the ancients civilizations from South America? Maybe Aztecs, Mayans or Inca? Thank you for all your teachings!❤
