Very, very, very old eggs will float. It’s rare to find an egg from a store that will float. Eggs that sink are fresh. If they stand up on the bottom they’re aging. Floating eggs are rancid. Naturally raised chickens often have yellower yolks. As eggs age, the air bubble inside gets bigger (which is why old eggs float). Fresh eggs have little to no air bubble.

This reminds me of the most embarrassing thing I have ever done:

When I was 5 years old I was at my cousin’s place for 20 days and I had to miss school days because I live far from them. One day I was going to get my cousins from school and we got ice cream on my way. At evening when my elder cousins came We had fun.
The next day I woke up, ate breakfast and went out to play with my cousin’s dog(Jack).When my cousin’s came back from school my cousin’s mom asked me to get the eggs from the chickens. So I went and I was scared of the chicken and I thought chickens were like humans too so I got a page and I drew an egg on it then I opened the cage and I put the paper in it then my elder cousin was like”what you doing?”
And I was like”My aunt needs the eggs from the chicken but the chickens won’t respond.” The my cousin laughed and he took the eggs out
