I disabled the IPv6 stack stack in Windows and in my cable modem years ago b/c I didn't want my ISP assigning me a unique, permanent, easily tracked & collated IP 3rd parties would exploit. This new IPv6 vulnerability PERFECTLY demonstrates the benefit for always reducing your attack surface by disabling unnecessary apps & services.
