I Ranked Every Legend Of Zelda Game From BEST To WORST!

From the NES original to the latest Nintendo Switch game, these are my thoughts on every Legend of Zelda game ever released!

Majoras mask streamlined the overworld compared to ocarina, created characters with far deeper backstories and personalities. Not to mention the dungeon design is peak Zelda, I don’t understand how it wouldn’t be on par with the others.

Twilight Princess was the "Zelda formula" at it's peak. Everything that made Ocarina of Time great was pushed to 11 and it's just the best in that regard.

Majora's Mask is my favorite Zelda game with BOTW and OoT. I understand why some people don't like it, but to me It's an awesome game. Great video, though.

I'm currently replaying A Link to the Past, and it's amazing how timeless the dungeon design is. I love how dungeons require multiple items. There is some amazing use of verticality in a 2D game too. For example, you have to drop down a bridge in the Dark Palace. I also love when the overworld and dungeon mix like in Skull Woods.

I never had any Zelda games as a kid. I mean, I had friends with them (NES + SNES games)… i just started playing A Link to the Past on an emulator and OMG im so hooked.

For majoras mask I felt that when u slow down time it really helps with that rushed feeling and yes you do still have to have multiple cycles but that was part of the fun for me imo

Bro, I’m on the controversial boat with you. Twilight Princess is my favorite Zelda game out of all Zelda. The dark tone and story is just so damn incredible. It’s honestly my favorite video game of all time and I’m so pissed at Nintendo for not giving this to me on the Switch

Twilight Princess is by far my most favorite game in the series. The atmosphere of the game is second to none, and the characters, story, world, dungeons, and soundtrack are easily some of the best in the series. The game gets way too much hate for no reason.

I actually really liked Majora's Mask, and while I can see the whole time thing getting in the way sometimes (it did), overall I liked the sense of "hurry the f--- up or you're gonna die" kind of dread that it brought. It could really get intense. Admittedly, it could also piss you off, but there are also songs that you can learn and use later in the game that you can use (and sometimes have to) to mitigate the game's normal time progression.

When you got to Twilight Princess and said people will call you an idiot, I expected it to be put really low. So to be put in Excellent was a nice surprise. It's my favorite Zelda of all time.

I agree with most of your list. However, A Link between Worlds is excellent IMO. It was way to easy but that’s why you get the master quest which makes it so much better. I’ve played it through three times and love every bit of it.

majora mask is really good. Part of the fun i s exploring everything that is happening on all three days everywhere in the game. then doing different things and seeing what the characters do during the timelines depending on how you interact with them.
