One of the hottest properties in Ford showrooms since its debut has been the Ford Maverick compact pickup truck. It’s something of a “white space” product, as the marketing people say — a vehicle not easily classified or segmented, and something that’s not like anything else on sale as a car-based, front- or all-wheel-drive crossover-style pickup truck for a budget price that ticks a lot of people’s boxes. Forgot the most important points IMO. The pricing of the "affordable" truck has gotten insane if you want a halfway respectable trim. Also the new models with the 2.0 now have LESS horsepower due to an exhaust particulate filter. Not only does that rob power, but they are also a reliability\service nightmare on every car they are used on. I hope all those "cheap" truck buyers factor in all that additional maintenance, because it isnt cheap and it WILL need it.

Amazing improvement to have hybrid 4wd! For some inexplicable reason that front face plate with hollow diamonds trips me out which kills the looks of it for me.

Got to remember this truck isn't going to last ten years.There is a reason for it's low price.
