I really love my 2024 Maverick. I'm glad I bought before the price went up again. Plus, I like having the knob controls for the A/C.

Friggin love this.

@Ford. I expect big from you. Engineering wise. Value wise. Quality wise. Reliability wise. You are after all the company that invented the automobile at an industrial scale.

I know all things are not equal competing with Japanese and Chinese companies when you’re operating with strict labor and environmental laws and are incurring operating expenditures in USD.. I get it. Still, you gotta do it! Have offshore manufacturing plants, R&D centers, do what it takes…

Saying all this in the backdrop of Ford failing in the recent years on multiple fronts year after year. The only thing they are able to brag about is the F-series pickup truck sales. But, they’re the most recalled brand multiple years in a row. Numerous quality problems especially faulty transmissions is something that has plagued Ford for many years now… the launch of their 6th gen explorer was riddled with problems and issues. It’s so baffling to me.

I don’t know if the issue is the leadership, upper / middle management or the unionized UAW workers of Michigan. But they have to become better.

I find it odd how some manufacturers have brought back physical buttons because of demand, and Ford gets rid of them. Doesn't anyone ever check before engineers design stuff? Maybe ask a wide variety of people what they want for controls or buttons; don't just ask the people in your circle (or blue oval). I like my smart phone touchscreen...ON MY SMART PHONE...not on the dashboard for every single control in my vehicle! Seems ironic that people are getting fines for being on their smartphones while driving, yet designers stick these damn touchscreens in vehicles where you have to take your eyes off of the road just to change the fan speed or radio station. 🤬

The movement away from physical buttons for the climate control is almost a dealbreaker. Why this is a trend on trucks (where people sometimes use gloves on a daily basis) is beyond me.

Horrible idea getting rid of the physical buttons. While the volume is still technically there, it's in a horrible spot. Seems every model they try this on, people hate it and the next model adds them back. Can we just agree once and for all people like having buttons for most things and leave them alone?

Did this guy say he preferred the “non-threatening” look of the old headlights? WOW! I didn’t know that headlights could be “threatening.” Hmmm…still don’t see it.😂😂😂

I like the AWD hybrid! Still, please give us a 2 door, 3 seat option...please! It would be cheaper, lighter and fit into my garage. A solar bed cover would be a nice option, too.

Why, why did Ford get rid of the physical buttons for the climate control in the Maverick. Because it looks cool? It’s just another electronic gadget that you know will have a glitch in it one day and it’ll be expensive to fix once the warranty is over. I live in the desert and I need air conditioning during the summer when temperatures hit 110 degrees or more. Can you imagine the hell and heat that people who live out here will have to deal with if the A/C isn’t working because of a glitch in the screen. And let’s not forget about the winters when you can’t get heat. Bring back the physical buttons already not everyone wants a do it all on the freakin’ monitor. I’m old school so enough with this distracting crap. Bring back the physical buttons.

Hands down, the all wheel drive and fuel consumption make it the best compact p/u you can buy. Swivel front bucket seats would completely put it over the top.

Maybe it's me. but I see everybody hates the move of the climate controls, but I like it. Before they were kind of buried down at the bottom of that center column and hard to read in lower light. I even asked my front seat passenger to do something there and she couldn't read them very well either. Plus they were all small and close together and you had to take your eyes off the road to use them. Would have preferred to have the manual controls up top but I'll settle for the digitals because at least they're safer to use. I have a '24 Lariat Hybrid but am probably going to accept the '25 version of it that In ordered because of where I live and all wheel drive would be a benefit here in upstate New York. God, I'm just having a hard time trying to get used to that front end. Hopefully they fired whoever came up with that. Everyone I showed it to thought it looked stupid, as if they had some spare parts laying around and that was how they decided to use them up.

Every time i see the interior, that hole cut out in the dash for the screen looks like ass. Like someone just grabbed a Dremel, cut out a hole, and shoved the screen in. Is it just me?
