Roger Solari and Martyn Farr were both adventurous cavers and cave divers. On their last outing together, one of them would suffer a catastrophic failure. In June of 1974, during exploration of the Agen Allwedd sumps, these men would face the worst fear of every cave diver.

Every video feels like a journey. Whether it's through educational content, heartfelt vlogs, or captivating narratives, there's always something new and enriching to discover. The dedication and passion behind each project are evident, and it's clear that you pour your heart and soul into your work.

But what makes these videos even more remarkable is the impact they have on us. They inspire us to see the world from different perspectives, to appreciate the little things, and to strive for excellence in our own endeavors. In a world where content is abundant, it's refreshing to find a creator who consistently delivers value and authenticity.

I want to take a moment to acknowledge the hard work and perseverance that goes into making such high-quality videos. It's not an easy task, and the hours of planning, filming, and editing are often overlooked. Yet, you seem to make it effortless.

I want to say thank you. Thank you for sharing your talents with us, for inspiring us, and for creating content that not only entertains but also enriches our lives. Your videos are a testament to what can be achieved with creativity, dedication, and a genuine love for what you do.

These brave men risked their lives to discover that the underwater cave leads to a dark and water filled cave.

"It takes a special type of cave mind to see this as an excitement" that's a very polite and subtle way of calling him nuts

Is there really any better feeling than knowing you don’t ever have to go cave diving?

The cardinal rule of cave diving is "don't go cave diving" btw

"If the sump is very short, cavers may just hold their breath and attempt to swim through"
Hell no, I don't think it's normal to think that

I will never understand how struggling through a narrow cave opening for hours, swimming in stagnant water, literally borderline suffocating in tight spaces for hours is exciting.

To risk your life to try to see more of the same rocks just deeper. Seems worth it.

I feel so claustrophobic when i see them going through those narrow spaces, i have to stop, and remind myself - I'm safe in my room, baby is sleeping peacefully next to me, and I'm just sitting covered in soft blanket, watching youtube video. And I'm going to keep it that way.

Here’s the thing. Even if Martyn and Roger could have found an air pocket further inside, then what? He would have drained his tank far below the halfway mark, which meant that he would not have made it out of sump 4, or even if he did, he would have suffocated in sump 3 on the way back. When they broke the rule of thirds, they were clutching at straws. It was incredibly lucky that Martyn was able to survive this mistake.

There's been an explosion of cave diving content being made but the way you present these stories make it easier to grasp the reality of these tragedies.

To not be getting paid money to do this is literally insane!

Just imagine, his body is still there, in the darkness, in the silence, in the water, still in his diving gear, preserved forever, a mile deep in the earth. Never to be seen again
Sends chills down my spine.

My wife and I took a self guided tour of an abandoned copper mine in Michigan's upper peninsula a few years ago. That experience left me not wanting to be underground any longer than I have to....
