This is the story of the Mossdale caving tragedy. When 6 men entered a tight cave system to help out with some important mapping work, they thought they would be in for an adventurous day in the deep tunnels of Mossdale Caves. The harsh reality of what they would face is absolutely stunning.

Bro unless there’s a gift shop, handrails, cool hard hats, and a tour guide you will never find me in a cave

The most mind blowing thing is that there are people in this world who will watch this exact video...and STILL choose to go caving.

My favourite part about caving is the fact that you don't have to do it

1. Build a remote car
2. Wear your VR set
3. Send it in
4. Eat popcorn and explore

I wake up every morning excited that I don’t have to go caving

"Looks like rain, what would you like to do today?" - "Let's go deep underground through some super narrow passages!" 🤯

I already have ”caving” on my not to-do list, but I think I'll add it a second time.

My favorite part of caving is that incredible feeling you always get when you never do it

Ive never felt so grateful to be watching something like this from the nice and cozy safety of my bed.

I've found the best way to avoid tragedies like this is to not cave dive or go caving.
So far it's working out pretty well

Crawling in a tight narrow space for hours and you can’t turn around or move your body….is wild

I've gone into a cave once. But when i saw that part where u had to squeeze yourself through a gap, i immediately went back

Could you imagine the fear seeing the water rise and counting your minutes left of living? That has to be the scariest way to go out.

I’m thankful that I’m claustrophobic, so never have to worry about this happening to me

In 30 years I've never had a caving accident. Also, I don't cave.

THANK YOU for not having an intro or unnecessary info anywhere in the video

When he said "Imagine crawling in a space not much bigger than your computer screen" with the footage of a caver crawling through that space made me realise just how claustrophobic these caves are. The video is literally to scale.

One thing that caught my attention was the part about, “Once you’re in the tunnel, there’s no turning back for about an hour” since you have to go that whole 900ft before being able to even stand.

So if one person would be coming back up, while another person is going down, neither can turn around basically unless they get emergency rescued

"Important mapping work". How? Nobody belongs crawling in caves. There's no hidden treasure. Only death.
