The first one is not really a weakness, but a two-fold tactic:
1. You don't want a full display of your force next to the country that's nervous about your presence, so a softer line helps keep things cooler;
2. The strongest forces shouldn't be the most exposed to the first wave of attack(s) and possibly taken out by surprise, because you need them to hit back. If you lose those at the beginning, the rest of your territory gets taken over more easily, and you are more likely to lose the war.

Problem: Almost all of NATO has no intention of helping others. They just want U.S. protection.

Turkey has their own national interest and to be honest if they get ignored while having a problem it is obvious that Turkey is going to decline something, especially when it's something important.
The US and Europe act like they're the only ones that deserve getting their problems fixed.

The lack of significant enemies is probably its biggest weakness. If everyone is weaker than you it’s difficult to really try to become stronger

"Hungary with it's far-right leadership". Well, I live in Hungary. Even though it's not the best country, and our leaders are corrupt (as well in the EU), it isn't far-right, that's the biggest lie I've ever heard of my country.

For Hungary the number1 priority would be cooperating with NATO in a conflict. There is no reason why Hungary would not cooperate in a conflict.

I don't think Turkey is really opposed to defending Sweden from Russia, nor do I think Hungary would abstain if push came to shove. These are all peacetime calculations to further some domestic end. And neither is in a strategic position to change the outcome. Turkey was never going to send hundreds of thousands of troops to the Nordic flank, they don't have the means to get them there, they would pin down Russian units close to their border. And unless the whole of Ukraine falls, and Russia still has blood to spend, and decides to focus on Hungary, Hungary is not on the front line, nor has the means to interfere elsewhere.
