This actually worked. I drive a 2014 VW Passat Tdi Se and I did as he said, while holding down the 0.0/set button, I put the key in the ignition, turn the car on but not didn’t turn the key all the way. Then the screen asked me if I’d like to reset my oil change sensor, you can select yes or no but obviously select yes, then it will say sensor reset. I just checked it and it went from -36 days to 180 days so it worked. THANK YOU!!!!

Also on a 2014 cc sport putkey in after mashing and holding 0.0 when key was turned on the message center was asking if I wanted to reset oil life to 100.

For anyone who has a 2014 Jetta GLi or similar, the way to reset is similar minus a step: 1. Hold down reset button, turn ignition to acc.(no engine running). 2. The computer will detect that you are holding down the reset button and prompt you to choose OK to reset the Oil Change reminder. 3. Choose OK using the selector button on your steering wheel. This procedure will probably work on any 2014 Jetta.
