If your Toyota Highlander is in need of an oil change, you may see a notification of "Maintenance Required Soon" on your dash. This video will illustrate one of the methods for clearing the Maintenance Required Soon notification, which will also reset the oil life.

Huge help! The oil change guys always reset me at 5000 miles even though I’m using synthetic and doing it every 7500ish. So nice to be able to turn off the warning light. Many thanks!

Thank you. There are other explanations on YouTube. Yours is the best. You move the camera to show what you are doing as you explain. My oil change with sybthetic oil is due every 10, 000 miles. The light comes on every 5, 000 miles. You saved me a trip to the dealer in between oil changes.

Thank you so much! I talked my brother through how to do the reset it on his wives Highlander, over the phone and she had the oil changed on September 29th and she' has let the light flash. . He had to drive the car and it drove him crazy until i talked through the while he was 50 miles from me.
