Unfortunately, in my eyes, there were scenarios where I felt Google was better whereas it got the least point

I like Samsung's saturation with the colors. And it did a pretty good job throughout most of the tests

11:00 Apple: I'm sure it's the sun that I'm trying to capture. 🌞😎

I moved from S22 Ultra to Pixel 7 Pro and made a photo/video comparison between this two flagship devices. There are no evening/night scene where Samsung took the lead, the video is extremely better on Pixel, especially in no-light-at-all conditions. The only thing, I can say, Samsung is better - 10x zoom. Pixel's AI just can't take same 10x photos (maybe Pixel can do it while it's sunny, but not at night). Some photo's at this video look as they where taken without night mode, I mean both Samsung and Pixel. Strange to see so bad results, cause I got much better taking almost the same photos at the same conditions.

Unusual observation: usually there are no difference between 2s and 6s night photos on Pixel, while Samsung has a huge difference. So, it's important to shoot longer if you have Samsung - you'll just get better result.

Currently I am using the Xiaomi 12S Ultra and very satisfied with its overall performances. Personally, everytime I compare the result of camera with my friend who use Iphone 13 pro, we travel together and take a lot of same scenes, I always like 12S Ultra more than Iphone. Really don't understand of why some reviewers out of there who still prefer Iphone rather than 12S Ultra and comment that Xiaomi still lack of software processing... which is not really true

I have a 7pro and I would really struggle to get it to take such poor night photos. Also some of those other phones had some weird optical distortion going on that were completely ignored. The night portraits especially, made your head look long thin on 2 of the phones that were the best in your opinion. Colour is easily corrected, optical distortion is not!

ive seen a bunch of camera comparisons and 12s ultra has always been really good in nighttime photography. it can compete with iphone in video recording in terms of overall quality of the footage, but not if you are moving because iphone's stabilization is unmatched really

Hard to beat physical sensor size.

Also, you can sort of see the masking algorithms at work in most moon modes if you shoot the moon through obstacles like trees or other distant objects. If the filter is complex enough, it can confuse the algorithm.

Apple's Moon-Zoom is more like SUN-ZOOM 🌞

Google, Xiaomi and Samsung has the astrophotography mode, that uses longer exposure for way better night photos, you can use it for anything, not just for astro

I like the street lights of Xiaomi with the least bleed out.
Samsung had the least reflections in one pic.
I've been having the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra for 4 months now. At night I'm using the night mode, turn the exposure down and do some afterwork. The result is well usable. 😉

I think you need a 2nd round with small adoptions of brightness, contrast and white balance If you make a great photo then spending this one minute in an editor is 100% worth the time. However, if then there are problems, they will be definete and decisive!

As a Xiaomi user, I can confirm that Xiaomi's one and only weakness lies in its selfie camera.

So weird. I have a Google Pixel 7 Pro and I get nowhere NEAR the bad results you do (especially on a tripod).

This video seems to kinda biased for Xiaomi. Also, I don't understand why at 3:33 Xiaomi got +2 even after coming fourth in place.
Edit: Pretty much biased imo. See:
5:53, Pixel I think strikes the best balance, followed by Samsung, Xiaomi, Apple. But he decides to give no marks at any.
6:00 Xiaomi should come last; photo is too dark & white.
7:14 Xiaomi's photo looks too white toned here.
