I made a DIY tripod adapter works well on my Galaxy S9 and Pixel 7 and that lets me use it without taking off the Otterbox case, I was getting just still pics of constellations with about 10 sec exposure. The setting buttons were perhaps modified by a software update. I still have my old Pentax ME if I can get some film for it.

Dude, did you try it at 5x zoom (so it would be using the 5x zoomed dedicated camera for potentially as great shots as at no zoom)? Zoom is kind of a big deal when it comes to astrophotography, eh?

It's a shame it won't do more than 4 minutes on astrophotography mode. We could have had great videos with the rotation of the earth. Oh well, we can't have everything 😊
