Hi Jazz, what I would suggest is that you discover how to be happy for yourself (i.e. lose the thoughts that make you unhappy)... and then you won't care what your partner does. The only reason you want more time with your partner is because you believe it will make you happy. The only reason you want your partner be less selfish about your feelings is because you want to be happy. You are only caring about your feelings just as they are about their feelings.

All this did was make me realize how bad a gf I was. I was always looking at the bad he did and always telling him that I didn't like certain things he did or getting mad at the small stuff. When I didn't do those things, we were fine.
He also did those things as well tho. He would take small things I said and exaggerate them even after I explained them

Lack of a 'story' about someone, doesn't create the feeling of love for me. It just makes me apathetic.

I really want to like these videos, but it seems the answer given to every issue is to ignore your mind, and emotions because they're only caused by the mind. That good thoughts are bad because they create expectation and bad thoughts are selfish. That you should consider every-ones feelings over your own, but you shouldn't want them to do the same because it'd be unloving to want it (and would mean your thoughts actually do count).

I'm just finding it very confusing and contradictory.
