Dog attack inside Miami coffee shop caught on camera

A South Florida man was injured while trying to save his dog from being attacked by another dog.

The way that man fought for his dogs and then literally curled his body on top of it to protect it in case of a second attack the moment it got free brought tears to my eyes

The way the dog attacked him leads me to believe this isn't the first time. The dog owner ran because he knows he's responsible and is gonna have to pay. He really is a coward

These days people walk away like this after killing a human in a car accident. Im not shocked one bit....plus it's Miami 🤷🏾‍♂️

No one talks about the psychological consequences for both dog and owner. This happened to my dog. It changed her personality. She didn’t want to go outside afterward. On walks she was scared of every other dog even from a distance. It took the joy from her life. I was in defensive mode the whole time ready to protect her. It’s a horrible experience.

The man who fled, makes me blood boil!!! That's exactly like causing an accident and fleeing the scene!!! I hope he's found and charged with as many counts as possible!!! Too bad being a coward can't be one of them!!!

My wife was walking our daughter's Goldendoodle near our home when a male "Staffordshire Terrier" (owner told us it most definitely was NOT a Pitbull) came out of their open garage, ran the length of the driveway, knocked down my wife who fractured her wrist when she landed on the sidewalk, and attacked Otis, biting him badly on the shoulder and two other places before the owner saw what was happening and came to pull his dog off. Took the wife to urgent care but when we got home Otis was in severe pain from the shoulder wound so we found an all-night vet who treated the bites (looked a lot like the pics in the video). Everyone recovered but Otis has permanent scarring. Fortunately we knew where the dog lived or else the occurrence might have had the same outcome as this post, with the owner fleeing the scene in fear of having to pay for the damages their dog did; in our instance the owner's Homeowner Insurance paid us $5000.

I Luv how quick he was to jump in and rescue his fur baby...no hesitation, just dove right in, such a hero! And the fact that he felt the need to mention he'd never hurt a dog before, shows he has a kind ❤

They always take off quickly. They won't take responsibility for their dog. This is why I leave my dog at home. I don't trust the other dogs. Hopefully you got a good photo of their face and someone will turn them in and you can take them to small claims court. I hope your dog recovers quickly.
