Leanne Mohamad is an independent candidate running in the Shadow Health Secretary's Ilford North constituency.

Wes Streeting has faced backlash from his constituents for Labour's reluctance to stand up against Israel's onslaught against Gaza, but also for his plans to allow more private healthcare assistance in the NHS.

Leanne Mohamad is gaining traction in the constituency for her positions on both topics. We joined her on the campaign trail to find out more.

As a American looking in, I immediately disliked Wes the moment he tried to diss Bernie when he was visiting the UK as if our factions even mean the same thing but Bernies response of "I dont even know who he is" was just amazing unintentional shade thrown at that lightweight. We are fighting for some form of universal healthcare in the USA whereas you want to protect what you have. I have an out of pocket cap of 6500 on medicine before insurace kicks in, and im at 3500 for the year, so it won't kick in til November for profit insurace and pharmacy benefit managers are nightmares if you ever hear the word PBM vote them out.

He's a wolf in sheep's clothing. He'll finally finish what Tories have been stealthily doing and fully privatise the NHS, and the Conservatives will never let Labour forget it. I really hope he loses his seat. He's one of the most dangerous and right-wing Labour politicians I can think of.

This young lady is beautiful example of how the youth of england will change the face of the country. She is principled and honest and articulate and compassionate. All of these are quite the opposite of the regular suspects that run for office. More power to her.
