Yes! I really love this video. Especially the last point, grades don't matter, what matters is the PA-C

Just got accepted to a program! Applied to 10 schools, 5 interviews total so far. 1 waitlist 1 acceptance and the other ones I don't hear back from until November. Another interview in November! Just taking it all day by day. Thanks for the video!

It is so great to hear the last point because I am not a great test taker. I stress before, during, and after exams. If I don't do well I get discouraged but I know my patient contact will be better. I'm hoping to get into PA school this fall or maybe the beginning of 2022. I'm finishing up all my CASPA information. I'm waiting on letters of recommendation from doctors and PAs. My personal statement is just about done. Thank you for your videos.

Grades do matter. Several of the residency/fellowship programs I applied to had a min GPA of 3.0, and having a strong GPA is definitely viewed favorably for many of the adcoms (at least I've been told this). It would make sense to favor strong GPAs, because the majority of residency programs lump you in with physician residency programs, who undoubtedly value book smarts and textbook knowledge.

with the meal prep I say also think using factor they send you food to reheat so think about that and other companies like this as well if your in cooking

Wow. You just made me feel at ease! I'm in my junior year and already looking into CASPA so I can work on my applications! Unfortunately I have to retake my A&P since I took it 10 years ago. But I just found out some schools like in Texas don't care about how long ago the classes were taken. However, as I'm waiting to get into a program, I'll take A&P again just in case I don't get in the programs in Texas! Do you or does anyone else know if there are other schools that don't have a "time" restriction for the prerequisites??
