Top Bar Beehive Tour

Bees have caught my interest lately. so I decided to build a top bar hive and try my luck at beekeeping. This is a project my daughter and I worked on together. Come with us as I give a guided tour of the hive before we add bees. In one week, I will have bees, and will try to keep making videos to document our success. Your hive looks great. I am sure you will enjoy keeping bees. It would be great to see how the bees go when you get them in there.

Try using one part linseed oil and two parts mineral spirits to paint the exterior if you have not already. It's relatively cheap, works like paint, and really makes wood get a nice aged look while preserving it.
