Mr. Nair mentions a recent case where a Shinde-Sena leader’s son in a drink and drive case rammed the car which led to the death of a woman in Worli, Mumbai. Maharashtra’s former CM Uddhav Thackeray’s son Aditya Thackeray, who belongs from the principle opposition party in Maharashtra raised the issue, met the victim’s family and conducted a press conference so that justice is delivered to the victim’s family. The recent Lok Sabha election results where the ruling NDA won 293-seats, much lesser than the previous brut majority and a stronger opposition with 234-seats, Mr. Nair says that the government will be accountable this time.
