Amazing how people haven’t got common sense with these things, it’s fairly obvious if you pour something almost boiling temp onto sugar and stir that is clearly the best way to dissolve without disrupting the drink. Glad this video demonstrates that

Actually brewing brown sugar tamped into on top of the espresso and then brewing it is called a ‘Cubano’.

i simply put in the the milk all the while it mixes when warming it.

I sometimes put the sugar in with the milk, then steam then pour like usual. I felt like I take up a lot of time to stir in the sugar so I started taking this tip from another barista on my team.

Don't recommend if you aren't using all the milk in that pour though! I feel like some of that sugar is still in the milk and the guest doesn't truly get that "1 sugar" they asked for

Its actually an interesting technique. I'll share that video with my friend who might still be afding 1 sugar in his espresso/cappuccino.

To be honest i thought at first the whole video would had been a joke like "Where do you put sugar and when?" and that the answer would simply be "NOWHERE at all, just never!" 😂

I actually texture my milk and sugar together if I’m making it just for the one drink, it works out pretty well!

You can put it in a cup. There’s a type of coffee (I forget the name) where you do that.

I always ask for no pattern & more foam.
I like putting the sugar on top & spooning it off.
If I wanted silky milk and coffee, I could make that at home for a third of the price.

Isn’t that a bit difficult, as you would have to know a customers preference upfront.

Putting sugar in the portafilter makes cafe cubano. There’s nothing wrong with that it’s just a different coffee
