How To Install AMD High Performance Power Plan For Gaming

Seems pretty basic but there are a lot of people out there that do not know how to install AMD High Performance Power Plan. So I thought I would make this quick Tutorial video. Please leave a like and Subscribe to my channel for more videos like this.

Ryzen 5000 series CPUs do not require a special Ryzen Power Profile, so it is not installed with Chipset driver package. Please use the Windows Balanced Power Profile for these procesors. Previous generation Ryzen processors will continue to use the Ryzen Balanced Power Profile for optimal performance and this is included in the Chipset driver package.

Starting with AMD Chipset Driver 02.10.13.408, the processor power can be adjusted via Performance and Energy slider on systems running Windows 10 2004 and later. amdmatt

i dont why i have installed the latest amd chipset and also restarted my laptop but then also it is not showing amd high performance power plan. Can you tell me why?

ofc windows gives a lot of plug and play drivers but they are not the lastest ones

I installed the chipset but nothing changed still have AMD Ryzen balanced, Balanced, Power saver, Ultimate performance and High performance. I'm guessing the"High performance"is the same as AMD Ryzen high performance

I have Ryzen 5 2600 and MSI B450M PRO-VDH MAX, the only power plan I have is AMD Ryzen Balanced, no matter how many times I install these power plans, nothing changes for me

It worked really good but as fast I restart my computer it bumps back to standard mode. Which is really annoying cause every time I start my computer i need to go in to settings and change it back to amd Ryzen high performance mode.

I’m having a issue where the power plan form AMD Hig Perfomance will switch back to “standard” exelent performance every 10 to 20 minutes. Is there a setting to prevent this or does this happen because I didn’t acticate windows yet?
