Walmart is stealing from you.. hoping you don't notice.

You're not crazy, food has never been this expensive.
And portions are getting smaller.
Yet costing more than ever.

On the other hand, companies are cutting corners in more ways than one.
And giving solutions that are unfit for survival.

And who’s left to deal with the aftermath? Us.

With one incident so immoral, it’s sending customers to the doctor’s office.
Grocery stores and food companies are robbing you… hoping you don’t notice. But there are ways you can fight back..

The fact that $45k a year used to be middle class..now it’s poverty. Makes me sick.

i still can’t get over him saying we should eat cereal for dinner while he makes billions

Telling us to eat cereal is literally just "let them eat cake" in modern day

Covid taught everyone something, but it taught companies they could operate with fewer employees and raise prices and people would still buy from them. If food manufacturers and suppliers raise prices, restaurants raise prices, and everyone eventually follows. Just my opinion. Corporate greed is a real problem!!

I’ve stopped eating fast food because for $16-$20 per meal, I can eat in a real sit down restaurant.

This is your reminder that the farmers that grow the food that we're paying so much for aren't making any more money despite how expensive the groceries have become.

We aren't even boycotting intentionally, we literally just can't afford to buy any more. We buy the cheapest we can, the least amount we can, cutting back portion sizes and looking for discou t anywhere we can... we have to do this to survive right now.

Walmart steals from us but gets bent out of shape when we steal from them

I’m glad they mentioned hotels. Remember when you could check in at 11am and had to be out by noon the next day? A 25 hour stay for about $50 at a decent place.
Now you can’t check in until 4pm and have to be out by 10am the next morning. At a cost of $150-$200 for the 18 hour stay. Criminal!

Girl, I'm just so tired of having to fight for literally everything. Working wage? Affordable healthcare? Now FOOD and inflation? And when we want better treatment, it's on US to pay for it? Better get the pitchforks.

They're throwing away perfectly good food in dumpsters and raising the prices.

It's not just Walmart. It is all the stores.

The best way to fight back, learn how to make your own cleaning items with very basic supplies, learn how to grow at least a few items your family eats most, and learn how cook from scratch. I know its not easy but it's what our family has done ...a little at a time. I am currently finishing a garden build so i can start a nonprofit that teaches all ages and abilities on how to grow food in a variety if ways (even in a This food will taste better and you can control what is/isn't used on the crops. We already give away lots of free education and extra food to neighbors, those walking by (we live on a main walking/biking route that is by a regional park with trails), and loved ones but i hope to donate to the local food shelters and educate small groups once i get the nonprofit up and running. People need to take things into their own hands by trying to make/grow more things themselves. Start small and over time the change will become huge!

13 years job experience, finally went over $100, 000 a year. Hearing "groceries cost 20% more" and now realizing I'm back at square one with entry level pay.

I’m old, 76 and live on Social Security. I was getting $238 per mo in snap benefits. My monthly income never changes. It’s been around $960 for years. Suddenly, my snap benefit has been reduced and now it is $57 per month. They said the reason was because my income went up. Tried to call them, but now you can’t get through to my caseworker on the phone. I’m not the only one who is experiencing this. I think the US government is looking for ways to save money.

Ive been on this earth for half a century. And Ive noticed that any excuse to raise costs on food is used. And the prices NEVER, EVER go back to pre-excuse prices.

Kentucky doesn’t have a sales tax on food, so me & my husband go twice per month since we’re only about 20mi from there.

We calculated that we save approximately $150 for both trips per month, which is great, but we shouldn’t be HAVING to travel to buy semi-affordable groceries!!
