Fun fact: the infinite fun easter egg wasnt intended to be this scary, the music that plays is the games boss music and the Japanese version has a less scary boss theme.

The Minecraft cave noises creeped me out so much when I was little, that I never even wanted to go in the caves. EVER. But I've gotten used to it since I realized I could turn the volume down and I'm older 💀

The sonic screen was made on how goofy the Japanese/European Final Boss Battle Music was with the text translating to "Fun Is Infinite -Majin" when it got to America since they have different last boss battle song they got the rather more disturbing side of it than the fun and jokes.

The reason that magin sonic is creepy is because it uses boss music and in Japan its a pretty goofy song but it was changed in the US release

In the japanese releases of the " Fun is Infinite " / " Majin Sonic " easter egg, the music is alot more light-hearted and is taken more jokingly as oppose to its international release counterpart.

I'm not sure whether you know this or not, but the sonic shaped figures are sonic with some sega employee's face (i'm not sure what the name of the sega employee is) and the easter egg was not meant to be scary, but comes off as scary due to the us soundtrack having eerie boss fight music. The japanese and european versions of cd have really funky boss fight music, so it's not as scary lol.

Another fun fact about the sound test menu: if you input the numbers; 07 07, you can play a secret special stage where you play as tails (with Dr Eggman on the background for some odd reason)

The Infinite Fun music by itself instantly triggers my fight or flight response, but combined with the repeated creepy sonics in the background, it gives me nightmares

One thing you didn't mention about the sky valley he'll trees is how big they are when you sus out their proportions due to how far from you they are. They are enormous.

Fun fact: the baby image at the crossfire game in the lab was probably the owners newborn daughter / another fun fact: that woman standing with a mysterious shadow figure in the folders is a unfinished version of the 3d version of that game.

Actually for the sonic cd one if you play the Japanese version the music is actually very cool and funky

1:33 Sega tried to make the sonic here look funny or goofy (like the one from the fnf mod) but instead they made this abomination that gave me nightmares.
