Reminds me of that Chris Rock stand-up line, "If the men aren't working and outside, you in danger!"

rule #1 in any neighborhood: keep it moving and mind your business. you'll avoid 90% of problems.

My great grandmother is buried in Camden. About 20 years ago, we stopped going at Christmas and Easter to put flowers on her grave because there were drug deals in the cemetery in the middle of the day.

Such a vibrant culture! I’m glad they’re all enjoying a day off from work.

Nice to see all the people outside building relationships with there neighbors. Makes for a strong community that watches out for each other.

I've lived in NJ for 33 year's, and I've never been to that town. I avoid that cesspool like the plague.

Glad I saw this video. I was thinking about moving to Camden, and now I'm sure I will. Nice little spot there.

I’m from DC, and I had a chick whose family lived in Camden, and staying there for about 3 weeks, I felt like it just might be the worst area in America. Too many narrow one way streets. Too many suspicious looking mfkers. Too much watching your back. Every store looks closed, when it’s open.

Good news for those of you who cannot visit Camden. Because of our fantastic government leadership in NJ, our whole state will look just like Camden within the next 20 years!

My brother was a sergeant in the Mercer County NJ Sheriff's office. He had to give testimony in the court in Camden. He got lost in the back streets trying to find his way to the parking garage and stopped to ask a Camden cop how to get there. While he was getting directions the cop was calmly outlining in yellow chalk the body of someone who had recently been stabbed to death-blood all over the sidewalk. Cop was very calm and told my brother that sometimes he had to do that several times a day and it was no big deal.

It's like you're wanting to get shot at, robbed, ect.... Those types of neighborhoods are extremely dangerous. In a car or not, being on that side of town seems like you're looking for trouble. Stay safe!

You should pop into some of Trenton/Ewing. Very similar architecture and definitely dangerous in some areas

Goes to show how many towns and cities that are in very bad shape across the country, thanks to Charlie. no one should have to live in this type of environment. (boarded up windows, trash everywhere. ect ect.).. Michigan native myself. gives a good insight for people who dont see this from day to day.

Nobody ever talks about Camden. It’s one of the most dangerous places in America.
