I rode my bike thru Camden the other day. It’s difficult to believe that a wealthy state like NJ neglects almost every one of its cities. As soon as the manufacturing jobs left they left everyone behind to waste away. You should check out other cities in South Jersey like Salem, Vineland, Bridgeton, etc

I live in Camden its currently way safe then it looks its just alot of drugs. But Im from Philadelphia and Philly is much more violent at the current moment. Looks like you went to Downtown and Pollock (Whitman Park)

Im from east camden lived in camden all my life i got older moved more down in south jersey ...its not bad like that...its just if you into the bullshit bad thing will happen to you

I use to drive these streets almost every day for work. It's a shame that most people there don't take pride in where they live and just keep the hood clean. I know some of the houses look spotless inside though.

It’s sad because a lot of the houses in Camden were not designed to stand for 50+ years. They were built for the many factory laborers in the area. Then the factories closed and people moved to the suburbs so the houses just fell into shambles
