FIX - Ram Running at 2133 Mhz Instead of 3200 Mhz

In this video, I will show you how to fix if your 3200 Mhz ram running at 2133 Mhz. Change ram speed.

For everyone who activates xmp but nothing changes you need to keep it off and adjust the values manually, usually should be under the manual overclock but you should simply set the max value (or the one you want to use) in every space that says ram frequency. Also if you cannot find xmp listed in your bios bare in mind its name changes based on the motherboard you have so could be DOCP or EOCP.

Edit:

Steps for msi users:
- reboot pc
- press f2
- enter bios
- switch to advanced settings
- go in the ai tweaker
- make sure XMP/DOCP/EOCP
- set profile to manual
- put in the value you want
- do the same in the advanced tab where it says manual overclock and put the same value as as did

Thanks this fixed it, I bought 3200mhz ramsticks and when I opened task manager I got 2400mhz or something I thought I was scammed XD

Problem I have in task manager it's show 3200mhz but in cmd it shows 2133

Its usually cause the motherboard doesnt support speeds above 2133/2400mhz

bro my 8gb 3200mhz ram shows 2600mhz and ther is no xmp file option in bios ( my CPU is ryzen 3 2200g and mobo is gigabyte b450m s2h ) also CPU -z showing me 2600mhz . please let me know what to do ?

My biOS has none of those options. I have a HP pavilion amd processor. There’s no option for the memory stuff.
