Hi guys, today is this video I’ll try to find out what happens if you will eject RAM from the running PC. Before the video starts, remember, that in any case don't tried my actions at home with your PC, because it may crash it. Everything you will see in this video was created solely for educational and entertainment purposes. Enjoy!
In this video, I want to answer three questions:
1. What happens if you will eject RAM from the running PC while watching a YouTube video for example?
2. The second test will be during a game.
3. And the third question. Can it cause a fault of RAM?

My PC Specs:
CPU : Intel Pentium D 2 Cores 3 Gigahertz
Old ASUS Motherboard
Two sticks with each 1 Gigabyte of RAM.
NVIDIA 8400 GS

When I was a tech for a university back in 1996, we had a student worker who unplugged the video card while the machine was running. Nothing like removing a vlb cirrus logic without shutting off first.. 😂😂😂

Thank you for doing this test for us. We all wondered what happens, now we know! The sound persisting until the 2nd stick is removed is interesting. Missed opportunity to do the same with 1 stick and removing it should not cause sound :)

The Ram will not be recognize if is not installed in the PC the Bios won't read it

Removing the ram stick while your computer is running might cause the computer to freeze and make a VERY LOUD SOUND with no video corruption, unlike other models

I just did this on accident and my cpu comes back on and everything but there’s a no signal warning. I hope I didn’t fry my motherboard. All lights and everything is on also. Any ideas?

So it’s literally the exact same thing as pulling an N64 Cartridge out when the game is still running. It just freezes and screeches.
