Yeah no thanks I put a circle hook through the back of my ear when I was five and that hurt like buggery only had minor self hook ups since thankfully could imagine the choice words that came from this one

mate that looks painful, the worst I've had is a 1/0 in the finger. I remember back in the day fishing for Mulloway and some gawkers were standing there watching, and a young kid wore 3 ganged hooks with a pilchard hanging off it to the cheek under the eye whilst casting. I remember saying to the freaked out parents "it could've been worse, those hooks could've been in the eye and probably would've ripped it out and been casted

Always take side cutters with you incase this happens again mate so you can take the barbs off the hooks and take it out
