I thought I would try out a propane generator because it would be near where I was working and I didn't want to deal with the fumes from a standard gasoline generator. This generator was surprisingly easy to assemble-- it took me less than 5 minutes.

I've owned the little brother to that one, the LP3250 for 4 years and love it! Starts right up every time! I have almost 100 hours on it.

Thanks for the video! Question though, why is it a good thing that the "neutral bonded to frame" is a good thing for a generator? How else would the neutral be attached?

The neutral bond is only good if you never plan to hook up to your house. Easy enough to change though.

My strong advise is do not buy a generac portable Generator. I have an LP5500 with less than 10 hours running time. I had to replace the propane regulator in January. $300 part. Now with less than 10 minutes run time on regulator it has failed again. Generac does not make or support LP portable generators anymore. There dealers do not want to work on them. They totally dropped them, only care about whole house and commercial units. Get a Chinese one, cheaper and probably more reliable.
