All living things are made of non living things.

_"Living things can't come from non-living things"_ -- Actually, living things are just a serious of chemical reactions, so "living" chemical reactions can definitely come from "non-living" chemical reactions... because it's just chemical reactions.

I am gonna be honest. As a biology student, i wasnt sure going into it how much more knowledge of biology could remove my faith in the liklihood of their being a god especially as i already had a good understanding of science but let me tell you there is a lot of stuff within biology beyond even what is regularily talked about on skeptic channel too that just decreases it the more you learn about it especially as you begin to learn more and more about the interections that bring about life itself as well as things like prions

One thing I know is a fact religion does create delusion.

Think on this- if life can’t come from nonlife doesn’t this disprove god who was said to make man from clay?

Given the condition of the surface of the Earth in the Hadean Eon, life arose from non-living chemical reactions.

Molecular evolution can occur on mineral surfaces, RNA ribozymes giving rise to populations that exploit materials. Catalytic cycles develop spontaneously from this process, where one group of ribozymes use the output of another group as starting materials. Encapsulate in spontaneous micelles and protocells result. Now continue and you have the predecessors for life. Emergent complexity by niche specialization, cooperation.❤

Actually this statement "life proves god" is just another in a very long list of evidence-free allegations made by theists.
It's also an example of the god of the gaps fallacy

The only problem is god is not alive so he defeated his own argument of non living things (god) cant produce living things.

Quantum mechanics has real things being produced from basically nothing, I think this puzzled Albert Einstein, but has since been understood more thoroughly.

Funny how they jump back and forth between the universe being created to perfectly support life and abiogenesis being impossible without a god speaking it into existence!

I believe that the idea of spontaneous life came from Aristotle when he noticed that maggots came from meat. That held for a thousand years at least. However, this is where purely deductive beliefs are flawed. If he had thought inductively, experimentally and scientifically, and placed a cloth over the jar in which he had placed the meat he would have found life did not spontaneously come from life because the flies would not have been able to lay their eggs/maggots in the meat. Experimentation and verification along with predictive outcomes is at the heart of science. It is why religion has no place in the scientific modern world. Religion poisons everything, deductive reasoning has its flaws, science enlightens.

No, amino acids are the building blocks of life forms, not life itself. Life forms are not life itself. Life exists within the cells of life forms. Amino acids cannot produce life.

The amount of arrogance and overconfidence in the theist is astonishing.

Spontaneous generation is a superseded scientific theory that held that living creatures could arise from nonliving matter and that such processes were commonplace and regular. It was hypothesized that certain forms, such as fleas, could arise from inanimate matter such as dust, or that maggots could arise from dead flesh. The doctrine of spontaneous generation was coherently synthesized by the Greek philosopher and naturalist Aristotle, who compiled and expanded the work of earlier natural philosophers and the various ancient explanations for the appearance of organisms. Spontaneous generation was taken as scientific fact for two millennia. Though challenged in the 17th and 18th centuries by the experiments of the Italian biologists Francesco Redi and Lazzaro Spallanzani, it was not discredited until the work of the French chemist Louis Pasteur and the Irish physicist John Tyndall in the mid-19th century - which doesn't seem to be a religious idea, if that's the case it seems to me you're the one who believes in this "religious idea"?

Also the hypothesis of abiogenesis is yet to be proven viable - its still not an established scientific theory.

So the point still stands - how can life come from non-life? Since anything that is bereft of a quality can't produce it, we say the only possible explanation for contingent life is a necessary life (or) an Ever-Living being.
