Austin has great BBQ ... but everyone has their favorite BBQ place here in Texas. We like Rudy's, which is a chain, but very good. One of our favorites is Salt Lick BBQ in Driftwood, TX, which isn't too far from Austin in the Hill Country. If you get the chance, I think you would really enjoy it!

I'm from the DFW area in Texas and there are tons of great BBQ places in Texas I'm glad ya'll loved the food but I couldn't wait 3 hours there's always another BBQ place at least 10-15 mins away. Also, I saw a lot of people that worked in the back talking & standing around more than working that's a no no.

Great job you guys! Next time in Austin.. try any one of the Rudy’s BBQ in town.. if you like brisket.. this is da bomb! Extra moist is always the best.. and also go for the creamed corn. Yummy! You will be hard pressed to spend $40 for two. Cheers!
