BEST Guide To The ULTIMATE BBQ - Austin is one of the best places in the country to get barbecue and definitely if you are looking for Central Texas-style brisket, ribs and sausage. Franklin Barbecue is one of the most popular spots and considered by many to be the best, so it is a must try if you love BBQ. This is part 2 of our ultimate guide to the best BBQ experience at Franklin Barbecue from getting to the front of the line and making the most of the overall experience.

We waited almost 7 Hour wait that felt like 2. You'll see.
We went back for round two. One of their most popular, and most likely the busiest day to go, Saturday. Round one, we put together a Step-by-Step Guide to BBQ at Franklin but this time we wanted to show you why waiting in line for almost 7 hours, only felt like 2. Not to mention, several folks from our Step-by-Step Guide video asked us what we thought about the sides. We didn't have an answer for them because we didn't get any the first time. We got them this time and here's our answer.
Since we were just there a few months ago we felt we wanted to see if we could up the game of making the FAMOUS long line wait, move quickly. We went ALL OUT.

Must try:
Brisket is amazing. The Beef Ribs are OUT OF THIS WORLD delicious and you'll see why in the video. FYI - The beef ribs are only served on Saturday. 😍
We also recommend the pies that are made for the folks that visit Franklin BBQ.

I loved both of your Franklins videos. My wife an I were in Austin less than a year ago. We went to Austin to go to Franklins. We were first in line (they can never take that away from me) but we were there on a Wednesday so we did not get to try the beef ribs. The beef ribs will definitely be another trip. Your video brought back so many great memories of the food we had in Austin. Maybe I will see you the next time I’m in line at Franklins.

i drove 9 and a half hours from kansas back in june to try franklins bbq got in line at about 730 and sat down to eat at almost 300...long wait..best brisket EVER and i knew the beef ribs were only a saturday thing but the guy in front of me..not even kidding got the LAST RIB of the day, i will make it back there one day again and get in line earlier, best bbq ive ever had.

Hey you guys!!! It was great to see you go to Franklin BBQ!! We can't believe you were there at 4:45 am.. That's commitment!! AND you were the first in line again. How cool is that... You guys did not come to play!! LOLOL!!! Was great that they used Oak wood in their smokers, and they took you in the back to see them. Was also nice they had games for people to play while waiting so long. We can't believe how many people were lined up at 6:50 am... That's just wild!! It's cool they had a store in side with merch, and we can't believe the total of the food was $165.73!!! That is crazy expensive!! But at least they gave you a lot of meat!! Those beef ribs looked so juicy and huge and fell right off the bone!! Sorry you guys didn't enjoy that potato salad that much, but the colesalw and baked beans lookd really good!
