Is Bigger Better? 30 days with Google Nest Hub Max (Review)

I had high expectations order the Google Nest Hub Max, but bigger isn't always better depending on what you're looking for.

I've been using the google nest hub max since it was available to consumers as a replacement for the previous, smaller google home hub as a kitchen tablet. The larger size of the Google Nest Hub is what drew me into it and the fact that it could deliver louder, crisper music was a definite plus.

Even though I already own a few Nest cameras, I wasn't planning to take advantage of the built in 6.5-megapixel camera on the Nest Hub Max because the unit would be located in the kitchen.

The google nest hub max has a lot of things go for it:

- large 10-inch display that is the best digital photo frame in my opinion
- Ability to serve multiple users like my household
- Full-room sound

Is the larger screen or the included video camera the more compelling feature?

Video calling is available in landscape, caller from mobile device just needs to rotate their device into landscape orientation

You failed to mention gestures, and basically calling it bass heavy is just nitpicking. It is leagues better then the home mini, original home and nest hub, though slightly inferior than home max. But imo, home max being sold even pricier at 300 usd without having any smart displays is even not worth the price.
