#seborrheicdermatitis or #dandruff is a chronic condition, although it’s not curable, it can be well manageabled with the right products and prescription medications.
OTC shampoos are best for treating mild cases. Look for ingredients such as ketoconazole, zinc pyrithione, salicylic acid, tar, and selenium sulfide.
For thicken and adherent flakes, try massaging an oil to scalp, leave on overnight, and washing it off the next day

Check out above for more tips on how to best use these treatments. Remember for severe cases, prescription medications are needed, in addition to the regular use of an ant-dandruff shampoo.

I just scrubbed my hair with shampoo and made sure to get in the scalp in places that dandruff is usually visible for me. I wash my hair every other day and it was gone in 4 washes.

Question: You said that I only need to use those shampoos 2-3x a week.
Can I still be able to use normal shampoos when I'm not using it?
